To be healthy our bodies need to absorb and hold as much oxygen as possible,
however 21st century lifestyles make this increasingly difficult. Studies show
that:
1. Travelling on an aeroplane can pull oxygen from the blood cells. This is
due to the high pressure and thus can cause jet lag and tiredness.
2. Smoking affects oxygen absorption and increases toxin build up with in the body
3. Alcohol can increase Rouleau and aggregation of the blood cells (sticky
unhealthy blood). This can prevent the retention of oxygen and fluid.
4. Physical trauma and stress can cause the body to release oxygen.
5. Infections, bacteria, viruses and micro organisms deplete our cellular oxygen
levels.
6. Pollution fills our bodies with toxins, be it through what we
breathe, eat or drink.
7. Poor diets with high levels of saturated fat prevent our cells from holding oxygen.
8. Lack of exercise decreases the bodies chance to remove toxins and thus decreases the blood’s capacity to hold
oxygen.
9. Higher altitudes make it very hard for the healthiest of blood
cells to retain oxygen.
10. Oxygen decreasing in the air only serves to lower
the body’s intake.
